Family Minustry
As we gear up for another Thanksgiving, I wonder how many of us take time to really enjoy it? I wonder if we take time to tell our family what and who we are thankful for in life. I wonder if we take time to thank God for blessing us in tremendous ways.
Maybe this November you could start a new family tradition. At mealtime or bedtime take a moment to share with your family members something you are thankful for in life. What a way to slow down for a minute and think of all the blessings we have!
One blessing that stands out in my mind is my loving and generous church family. You all have supported my family and me in many ways, especially in the last couple of weeks. Thank you for sharing your words of encouragement, prayers, food, and babysitting with us. We are deeply grateful.
I am reminded of the verse in Philippians that says, “I thank my God every time I remember you.” I truly do thank God for each of you. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. May you remember the many blessings that God has given you this Thanksgiving season.
