Elsie I. Marquardt, 95, widow of Harvey R. Marquardt, passed away in here home on Eastern Hills Drive, Tuesday, April 1, 2008.

She was born in Sanford, Ill., the daughter of the late Henry and Nellie Dossett Smith. Mrs. Marquardt was a homemakerand volunteer for many worthy organizations, including churches she belonged to in Fincastle, Tenn., Wyandotte, Mich., Piqua, Ohio, DeLeon Springs, Fla., Paint Lick, Ky., and her final church, First United Church in Richmond, Ky.

She was also active in the Red Cross, PTA, and served as President for the YWCA in Piqua, Ohio. She had many fond memories of her relatives and many friends that she had made over the years in places she lived--Fincastle, Tenn., Wyandotte, Mich,, Piqua, Ohio, DeLeon Springs, Fla., Paint Lick, Ky., and Richmond, Ky.

She is survived by: her daughter, Sandra Bingham of Richmond; four grandchildren, Barry M. Bingham of Winchester, Susan A. Bingham of Richmond, Rana D. Lakes (Greg) of Monroe, Ohio, Amanda J. (Scott) Choate of Waco; two stepgrandchildren, Wlyse C. (Randy) Popp of Piqua, Ohio, and Timothy R. (Judy) Bingham of Berea; six great-grandchildren, Brittany D. Bingham, Jessica N. Spillman, AlexSandra R. Spillman, Jordan A. Lakes, Hannah D. Lakes, and Shiloh F. Lakes; two stepgreat-grandchildren, Amy(Gary) Powell of Tipp City, Ohio; six stepgreat-grandchildren; a sister Lola Lynch of Trenton, Mich.; two brothers, John Smith of Southgate, Mich., Glen Smith and a sister-in-law, Anna Lee, both of Trenton Mich., and many nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucille Smith and Nellie Lee Smith.

Mr. Charles F. Buck was born on May 3, 1924 in Fairmont, Indiana to Ray and Nellie Williams Buck, both or whom preceded him in death. He was a graduate or Indiana University and served in the United states Marine Corps. Charles was a long-time member or the First United Methodist Church of Richmond, Kentucky. Mr. Buck also belonged to the Masonic Lodge and was a shriner. Survivors include: one son, Jim Buck (Cheryl), of Richmond; one daughter, Karen Linville (Larry) of Berea; three grandchildren, Lori Cobb (Scott) and Brian Linville (Mary Anne), both of Berea, and Ohad Linville (Kelly} of Hendersonville, TN; ten great-grandchildren, two brothers, J. Merrill Buck(Jo) and Dwight Ray) Buck(Millie); one sister, Oarol Pressier; and several nieces and nephews.
